This year's Institute, in partnership with American University's Center for Social Media and SILVERDOCS AFI/Discovery Channel Documentary Festival, will take place June 14-17, 2006 at Discovery Channel (Silver Spring). This is your chance to network with old and new Institute alumni, learn new best practices in strategic communication, and attend SILVERDOCS.

The Institute will focus on Technology and New Media and how to use them to identify and connect with your target audience, establish your brand and measure the impact of your communication efforts.

Speakers and panelists will include top-level communication professionals. Hear from:

· Jim Brady (Executive Editor, washingtonpost.com) on emerging trends in the digital environment--what's hot and what's not

· Joe Baker (Executive Director, NTen) on how to select and implement the best new tools for your organization

· Victor d'Allant (Executive Director, Social Edge - a program of the Skoll Foundation)and Thomas Kriese, (Executive Producer, Omidyar Network) on how to activate and sustain online communities

· Pat Aufderheide (AU professor, co-founder of the Center for Social Media) on documentaries and new opportunities with Public Media

Please note that $100 gains access to the three-day Institute, sponsored breakfasts, lunches and happy hours, and the SILVERDOCS conference. This low rate is only available for Institute participants.
