After extensive research the two authors of this article came to the conclusion that the decision-making style of the person to whom you submit a proposal is one of the key factors in the acceptance of that proposal

The authors found that there are five distinct styles of decision making including: Charismatic, Thinker, Skeptic, Follower, Controller, figure out which style the person you are presenting to has, and good ideas will get passed.
